October 2015!

** So I wrote this in 2015 but never posted it-- which makes the first paragraph of this blog post ironic...

Ok, I am all caught up and can finally make a post the month that it actually happened. I love love LOVE October! There are just so many fun fall and halloween stuff to do! Here are photos of some of the fun things we did this month.

Kick off of Fall Deer Valley Trip.
This is one of my favorite pictures of Rylan because of that full mouth grin.
:D
^literally, she looks like that smiley face.

Harioldt the pumpkin.

Lounging Lodge Life

Attempting to skip rocks.

Yummy Lox Toast at Deer Valley Grocery Cafe.
Delicious!

Brian's Turkey Chili.

Hiking up to Silver Lake (?) too many lakes, I can't remember.

Rylan loved sitting outside and watching the fire.

Sometimes the camera flash is too bright.

Fun at Cornbellys!

Hee-Haw Hee-Haw Hee-Haw, Oink Oink Oink Oink
That song haunts my dreams...

Rylan must've thought she was a mother hen and the pumpkins were eggs.
She sat on pretty much every pumpkin.

**side note. This year, at this event, marked the first time I ever used a porta potty.
Yeah, I haven't missed out on much.
:/

Hay ride!

We discovered Rylan loves to eat apples all by herself.

Brian's brother, Josh, came home from his 2 year "hiatus" in Australia. Our family welcomed him back with hugs, hilarious signs, a pup and a kangaroo babe.

Rylan loved meeting him for the FIRST TIME EVER!!

We were invited to attend our neighborhood's little kid block party. It was so much fun.
Rylan didn't get the whole trick-or- treat part, but she did love watching and playing with the kids.

Can you guess who my favorite kangaroo bum belongs to?

Stealing other kid's candy.
She is a pick-pocket in training.

We went to the Riverwoods Pumpkin Parade where Rylan debuted her 2nd costume:
Wonder Baby!

Waiting for our new & improved Brian at the barber shop.
He sure looked handsome.

Catching up: September

Ugh, I was doing so well when I caught up and then... I fell behind AGAIN!

Here are pictures of some things we did in September!

At the start of the month, we decided to go on a hike. We drove up little cottonwood canyon, not quite knowing where we would go. However, pretty much anywhere up there is a good idea.
We are really loving the way these pictures turned out. The colors are seriously gorgeous.

If you know Rylan, you know she LOVES pizza. She could seriously eat it all day long. One of our favorite places is Pizzeria Limone. It was recommended to us by a friend in the neighborhood and we are slowly but surely making our way down the menu. So far our favorites are Violetta and Caprese.

For my birthday, Brian made a reservation to have Afternoon Tea at the Grand America Hotel. It was delicious!

Every girl's first french fry should be properly commemorated in photograph form.

We were walking through (well I was walking, Rylan was riding) and we found this Elsa jammie shirt. Rylan started pointing at it and singing "Let it Go" so obviously we had to get it.

Catching up- August 2015

August 2015

Just your everyday selfie.

Hiking again!

We got Rylan a robe. She looks quite lavish in it!

Meeting up randomly with old friends is so much fun.

I had not seen this girl in forever. I love me some Leah! It was so fun to catch up with her and talk about our old jokes and come up with a few new ones!

We were so honored to celebrate Evie's birthday with her this year.

Rylan even got to try some of the cupcakes!

On our last day in NY we drove up to Niagara Falls. It was beautiful.

My Dad also took us to this delicious diner called Anton's.
OMG! The next time I go to NY I am definitely going back there!

Sad to leave. We had such a great time.

Rylan's hair was finally long enough to be put into a little bow.

For my birthday Brian got me a massage, a coloring appt, flowers, macarons, a pedicure and a gift card for new jeans. I'm a pretty lucky lady!

Eating Yummy ice cream with my mom and MIL.

Rylan had some too!

Closer look of my new hair!

After my mom left we took Rylan to color me mine. I had been wanting to make a plate with Rylan's foot on it for so long. I figured if I waited much longer, her foot might get too big for a salad plate.
